The Regional Arts Fund provides open, competitive grants through two streams: Project Grants and Quick Response Grants. There is one national set of Guidelines, produced by the Australian Government, that outline the eligibility criteria, assessment criteria and how to apply. All applicants must read the Regional Arts Fund Guidelines before commencing an application.
Quick Response Grants are delivered monthly from February to November. Each round opens on the first day of the month and closes on the last day of the month. Project Grants are delivered once or twice a year, depending on the State or Territory that the applicant is based in. A list of opening and closing dates for Project Grants is available on Regional Arts Australia's website.
The Regional Arts Fund is an Australian Government program that supports sustainable cultural development in regional and remote communities in Australia. The program is managed by Regional Arts Australia and delivered in each state and territory by a Regional Program Administrator.
Applicants must apply for funding through the State or Territory that the applicant’s ABN is registered in.
