Regional Arts WA Assessor Pool 2025

Submissions are now being accepted. Submissions close at midnight 31 March 2025 (AWST).

What is the Regional Arts WA Assessor Pool?
The Assessor Pool is a register of artists, arts workers and industry experts with the skills and knowledge to make a fair and informed assessment of applications to Regional Arts WA grant programs. We are seeking a broad range of candidates in terms of artform area, age, location, cultural background and career stage from artists, practitioners, administrators, and other sector professionals.
The names of assessors in the Pool will be published on the Regional Arts WA website.
Assessor details for each funding round will remain confidential.

Payment
Assessors will receive an honorarium matched to the complexity of the grant program and number of applications assessed.

Commitment
Assessors appointed will remain in the Pool for a minimum of three years. Assessors may be invited to join a panel to assess applications to any of Regional Arts WA’s funding programs and initiatives. Meetings are generally online and assessors will need to access and use SmartyGrants. There is no obligation to take part in assessments if invited.
Assessors will be required to complete an induction to ensure a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
Assessors must comply with the Regional Arts WA privacy policy, conflict of interest, confidentiality, and code of conduct policies.

Accessibility
We will work with assessors to meet any additional access requirements.
